As the British political system cartwheels into chaos after the return of a hung Parliament, Anti-war campaigner Maria Gallastegui manages to take the message of peace directly to the heart of the seat of Government, entirely on her own.

The night before, around 25 Million British electors vote in the British elections returning the British Conservative party as the majority party but with insufficient Parliamentary seats to ensure Government in practical form. Despite losing seats on the night, and to confirm a popular strategic shift in the votes cast, the Liberal Democratic party emerge as the most powerful party with leader Nick Clegg, holding firmly onto the political scales of power.

During the election, a strategic shift took place within the electorate driven by media polls and sponsored televised debates favouring the Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg. As a result, migrating Labour voters inbound to the Conservatives were halted and dispersed preventing a majority Conservative Government from forming.

The strategy is driven by Labour crisis tacticians convinced that the Liberal Democrats will ultimately favour a Lib/Labour coalition in order to negotiate progress with nuclear disarmament and voting and tax system reform.

The tactic is evidence that the underlying Labour party continue to flounder as a direct result of the wars it has been waging and the death toll that it continues to be responsible for.

She leaves Downing Street and walks past people who have gathered outside to see Gordon Brown leaving number 10 and taking with him, a truly disastrous form of Government that has taken part in a conflict which has caused widespread loss of life in the Middle-East region, and has visited on the UK one of the most ruinous economic disasters yet seen in the nations history.

In Parliament Square, a poster asking people to Take Back Parliament is driven alongside the entrance to Parliament. The poster is sponsored by a group concerned with reform of the electoral system and mobilises almost a thousand people outside the Liberal Democrat HQ a day later. The rally is either attended by, or hijacked by, the well known left wing activist Billy Bragg, who attempts to suggest that Gordon Brown is about to resign to be replaced by the former Labour Foreign Secretary David Miliband and then goes onto co-opting the cause of voting reform on behalf of the Labour Party.

Maria arrives back in Parliament Square and is immediately screamed at by Brian Haw supporter Charity Sweet while members of the public look on. Throughout the course of the anti-war campaign, activists supporting Mr Haw have waged a relentless campaign against Maria for expanding the Peace Camp and are now openly claiming that she is a police agent, while at the same time being unable to understand that the police are unlikely to expend resources on counter-activism while Mr Haws supporters undertake the task voluntarily themselves.

Overhead, a helicopter gunship flies around London. This type of weapon has so far cost the lives of thousands of innocent people in both Iraq and Afghanistan including journalists working for the Reuters News Agency. These weapons continue to be deployed in Afghanistan nine years after that countries invasion and occupation with little or no objection by the domestic population, a situation heavily relied upon by the former Government leading to Labour Party activists hiding themselves within any campaign identified as having the potential to defeat Labour Government foreign policy.

On a noticeboard at the Parliament Square Democracy Village a leaflet is pinned up demanding that soldiers are brought home from Afghanistan alive. Next to it is an example of another political campaign unconnected to the cause of peace which has been inserted into the village by Professor Chris Knight who claims to be the Real Labour Party, a fact completely lost on ordinary people who do not support the war in Afghanistan but are not prepared to adopt other spurious left wing political causes in order to protest against the war.
