Péter Magyar was asked by the President of the Republic to form a government, and a New Parliament.

Hungary has reached a historic moment: the MPs elected in the April elections took their oath, thus the new Parliament was officially formed. At the inaugural meeting, President of the Republic Tamás Sulyok announced that he had asked Péter Magyar to form the new government, who accepted the request.
The ceremonial session began with the entry of the historic flags and the justification of the mandates of the Member States. The National Assembly unanimously confirmed the mandates of the Members of Parliament and national minority advocates, and then the Members of Parliament jointly took an oath to serve Hungary and the Fundamental Law.
The representatives of the national minority said their oath in their own language, including in Lovar, digging, Romanian and Croatian, indicating that the new parliament also represents the diverse communities of the Hungarian nation.
A 199 fős parlamentben a TISZA 141 képviselővel rendelkezik, ami kétharmados többséget jelent. A választók ezzel egyértelmű mandátumot adtak a demokratikus megújulásra, az állam működésének helyreállítására és egy emberségesebb, működő Magyarország felépítésére.
